Young Scooter’s Tragic Death Details
Young Scooter died on his 39th birthday on March 28 from injuries he suffered while fleeing the police. The Atlanta Police Department responded to an anonymous 911 call placed by a woman claiming gunshots were fired and a woman was being assaulted at an address on William Nye Drive. When police arrived at the house, Scooter ran out of the back door and was later located by police, suffering from an injury to his leg.
Police tried to render aid in the form of a tourniquet, but Scooter later died at a local hospital. Following questions about the nature of his passing, the Fulton County Medical Examiner confirmed Scooter died from cutting himself on wood fencing and succumbing to fatal blood loss. The woman who made the 911 call, Baddies reality show participant Demi Blanco, has since been arrested for transmitting a false public alarm.
