Self-Made Artist Black Jewelz is Gunning for More Songs This Year

All the way from New Haven, Connecticut, Black Jewelz, aka Julius Ferguson, is a hip-hop artist, music producer, and athlete. Previously he competed on American Ninja Warrior in season eight and in seasons ten through thirteen and is a part of the van life movement—a group of people who’ve given up traditional living to live in vehicles that have been turned into tiny houses.

Black Jewelz has plenty of singles on his rap sheet, and fans cannot get enough. He is currently on a mission to release even more tracks. Targeting 100 releases within a year through his Gofundme campaign, Black Jewelz is aiming for the stars with his lyrics.

The track “Never FM”, was featured on American Ninja Warrior during season 10. Ferguson has released various hip-hop projects and was awarded Album of the Year in 2014 by the International Music and Entertainment Association for his album Black Market. The album featured a collection of 18 tracks packed with raw artistry and captivating lyrics. His second album, Strictly 4 Myself, raised even more fame for the renowned artist as he unraveled a new facet for his talents. His self-produced track “King Is Black” offers a new cast to hip-hop music. His EP Unrivaled featured tracks such as  “Never FM” packed with rhythmic raps tied with thought-provoking lyrics. For an upbeat pick-me-up, check out his vibrant track “Vibes Vibes Only.”

His tracks will leave you wanting for me, which perfectly coincides with his need to create more music.
