Sexyy Red Drama: Superintendent Concerned After High School Students “Exposed” To Rapper

Sexyy Redd was an uninvited guest at St. Louis high schools across the region, according to a local superintendent who expressed concerns after the students were “exposed” to the rapper.

Sexyy Redd was criticized for delivering an unsanctioned show outside a rally intended for high school students last week.

The event, organized by Better Family Life with participants from various schools in the region, was thrown into controversy when Sexyy Redd showed up and performed in a parking lot, an act that neither the schools nor the organizing body had approved.

Arthur Culver, the Superintendent of East St. Louis School District 189, voiced his concern over the incident.

“Students from across the St. Louis region were exposed to an uninvited performance in the parking lot by a rapper,” Culver stated. “We also share concerns regarding the inappropriateness of the impromptu music and performance for our teens.”

Culver also echoed the sentiment of Better Family Life, the organizing body, which candidly stated that Sexyy Redd was not invited and her unexpected involvement was not in line with the event’s goals or standards.

The fuss started last week after the rapper was turned away from a high school in St. Louis, her hometown.

School officials stopped her at the entrance, alleging she smelled of marijuana, a move that prevented her from interacting with the students as she had planned.

In response, Sexyy Redd took to social media to express her dismay.

“I came up here, got cute, tried to talk to the kids, give them the word of the day, and they gonna put me off, tell me I smell like weed,” she declared in a video.

Despite the setback, footage showed her seated atop a car, performing her song “Get It Sexyy” while students outside the school chanted along.
