Homeboy Sandman Pays Homage “Queens Blvd Pt. 2”

Queens Native Homeboy Sandman crafts the perfect ode to his borough in his new single titled “Queens Blvd Pt. 2.” The song marks the first collaboration between Homeboy Sandman & the skilled Brooklyn producer, adp who crafts a mid-tempo cinematic backdrop that perfectly fits Homeboy Sandman’s luscious flows and detailed lyricism. He is in his element as usual and breezes through the track with ease while referencing a handful of elements that makes his hometown great.

“Queens Blvd Pt. 2” is the first release via his own imprint, Dirty Looks. Homeboy Sandman recently received a UK Video Music Award (directed by Pavel Buryak) for “Monument” from his acclaimed Quelle Chris-produced album Don’t Feed The Monster.

He explains the inspiration behind the new single & working with adp, “The inspiration is Queens Blvd. I grew up on Queens Blvd on the very block between 56th and 57th Aves which anyone will tell you during the 90s was the Elmhurst bootlegging Mecca. This is the first track I’ve done produced by adp. He’s got a lot of heat and I’m excited to join forces with him.”

A true road warrior, “Queens Blvd Pt. 2” was recorded in Miami amidst a 7-show run on his Anjelitu Doesn’t Feed The Monster Tour with Gam and then mixed & mastered by Darko the Super.
