Jasmine Cassell delivers a groovy summer jam titled “Lie”

South Jersey-based singer/songwriter Jasmine Cassell‘s new single “Lie” dives into delicate territory as she looks at the different lies told by men and women as well. Over Philadelphia musician Lee Clarke‘s smooth bouncy r&B/hiphop infused backdrop, Cassell delivers a solid melodic run ripe with gripping soulful vocals and evocative lyrics culled from her own experiences with men. She takes the case of a man who is making his rounds with a handful of women and has to keep telling lies to sustain his relationship but eventually things never pan out the way he wants.

“Lie” is taken from Cassell’s forthcoming sophomore EP
