ShooterGang Kony and LaRussell find solace in a “Jesus’ Peace”

Rising West coast emcee ShooterGang Kony is slowly building his rep and his music catalogue. From the acclaimed single “Charlie,”  to his 2020 album Red Paint Reverend, which garnered him buzz in different important circles in the industry, Kony is definitely not sleeping on his oars. His latest effort “Jesus’ Peace” sees him teaming up with fellow emcee LaRussell for a retrospective and heartfelt record that paints the gritty life of young black men trying to survive the pitfalls of their environment. Bolstered by a sombre, vocal sample-driven backdrop, the duo share their respective experiences as they navigate the treacherous paths and jump through hurdles to reach their life goals
