Drake Shares Heartfelt Mother’s Day Message To Sophie Brussaux

Mother’s day took place over the weekend and many in the rap world took the opportunity to shout out the mother figures in their lives. Rappers have a long history of paying tribute to the women who raised them, though less so sometimes to the women raising their own children. But that wasn’t the case with Drake, who wanted everyone to know that he was showing love to the mother of his son Adonis. He shared a post to his nearly 150 million Instagram followers paying tribute to Sophie Brussaux.

The post comes with an adorable picture of the model alongside Adonis. Over the picture Drake shares a caption showing love to the both of them. “Hey mama. Hope you are getting plenty love from our chosen one. Happy Mother’s Day” his caption reads. The post got particular attention in the wake of the “Rich Baby Daddy” rapper’s beef with Kendrick Lamar. His fatherhood was repeatedly called into question in the beef with Kendrick’s dark meditation “Meet The Grahams.” The track even features a passage where he speaks to Adonis directly. Drake’s Adorable Mother’s Day Message

The beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar has continued to excite fans and spark discussion even after a full week with no new diss tacks. Charlamagne The God used a recent interview to discuss how he thinks Drake could still win the beef. DJ Akademiks also thinks the beef may not be over. During a recent stream he teased that the two rappers aren’t actually done yet. That’s in contrast to what Drizzy said at the end of his “The Heart Part 6” diss track. In the closing moments he claimed he was done with the beef and moving on.

“The Riddler” Possibly Still Trolling Drake—And It’s Getting Uglier

Y’all come in and sit down. Shut the door, because all hell has broken loose. Some people are saying that Kendrick Lamar—who’s been nicknamed “The Riddler”—has broken his silence and is now working through a burner account.


By the way, I don’t believe that. But this new video has everybody collectively in awe.

Remember when Drake was all like, “Kendrick’s lying,” throwing all this shade about that “meet the grahams” cover art? Well, guess what?

It looks like the video could have been filmed from Kendrick Lamar’s Manhattan apartment. Again, I don’t believe that.

In the video, there are two dates on the prescription bottles that are very important. We searched through Instagram and this is all fitting together like a puzzle.

Some people STILL maintain that UMG talked to Top Dawg (TDE) and Daylyte (allegedly one of Drake’s ghostwriters), and was like, “Yo, there needs to be a ceasefire.” Drake has turned into the butt of many jokes with people at graduations singing “they not like us.”

Kendrick Lamar said, “You know what? I’ll take my win.” However, he may still harbor anger about what Drake said about his wifey and child. So there’s this little burner account, which could be Dot (probably not), maybe somebody close or something more, like a security guard.

It truly feels like some dark mess is about to be exposed. There’s CCTV footage of Drake standing in a hotel doorway and a baby (but I think it’s a man with a sever disability). No matter what, it’s weird as hell.

This is where Twitter is CLUTCH. These folks are on top of it all. Peep this stuff (By the way, I’m not co-signing. AllHipHop is not reporting this as any fact at all):

On Sunday (May 12), 21 Savage hopped on Instagram Live to speak with his fans and said he’s sick of hearing people ask him about Drake and Metro Boomin’s ongoing feud.

“Bruh, aye, don’t keep comin on my muthaf**kin’ live talkin’ about no muthaf**kin’ beef,” 21 said. “Metro my brother and Drake my brother. Them n***as gonna figure that s**t out eventually.”

21 Finally Speaks After Months of Silence

21 Savage has been incredibly quiet since Metro and Drizzy began beefing back in 2023. It makes sense why 21 wouldn’t want to pick sides considering how close he is with both Metro and The Boy. The Slaughter Gang leader linked with Drake for Her Loss back in 2022 and joined him on his It’s All a Blur Tour the following year. With that being said, Metro kickstarted 21’s career. The pair linked for 21 Savage’s 2016 debut Savage Mode, his breakout project. They then joined forces again for Savage Mode II in 2020 and have made numerous songs together since then.

21 has also shown some support for Drizzy on his American Dream Tour with J.I.D, Nardo Wick and 21 Lil Harold. During his performance in Los Angeles last Tuesday (May 7), 21 ran through his “Rich Flex” song with Drake, and played the 6 God’s verse in full as the crowd sang along to every word. While 21 Savage hasn’t spoken about Drake’s beef with Kendrick Lamar, playing through a Drizzy anthem in K-Dot’s hometown seems telling.

Drake Seemingly Lied About Feeding Kendrick Lamar With Fake Daughter Information, DJ Akademiks Reveals

Overall, Drake is in a bad spot right now. This is due to the fact that Kendrick Lamar came through with a blowout victory in their beef. “Not Like Us” is about to be the biggest song in the world and it has even beaten some of Drake’s Spotify records. Moreover, “The Heart Part 6” has been clowned all week thanks to its poor attempts at refuting the things Kendrick alleged on his songs. In “The Heart Part 6,” Drake also claims that he fed Kendrick the information about an 11-year-old daughter. This is a narrative that was prevalent on Twitter, and Drake co-opted it for his song in an attempt to make Kendrick look bad.

Some took Drizzy at his word in all of this, while others were incredibly skeptical. Well, it seems like the skeptics have come away with the win on this one. In the latest stream from DJ Akademiks, the hip-hop commentator admits that Drake’s team had no idea where Kendrick got the 11-year-old daughter information from. This essentially alleges that Drake made up the whole OVO mole narrative. As for where Kendrick really got his information from, that remains to be seen. One could speculate that he allegedly fabricated it in an attempt to make OVO scramble and implode from the inside out.

Drake Was Stunned By Daughter Revelation

Either way, Drake has been called out on two lies so far. The other involves his claims that Dave Free and Whitney Alford may have had a child together. DJ Akademiks debunked this claim on the very same stream. Needless to say, “The Heart Part 6” is not aging very well right now. That said, Drake has yet to comment on what Akademiks said on his stream. Only time will tell if that is going to change.

Drake Vs. Kendrick Lamar: DJ Akademiks Alleges Drake Lied About Dave Free & Whitney Alford Affair

Drake and Kendrick Lamar have been beefing for what feels like a full month and a half. Overall, the feud has been going on for over 10 years, but the climax has finally taken place. Following the release of “Not Like Us” and “The Heart Part 6,” it was clear that Lamar had won the war. Although he still has some allegations to address, it has been made abundantly clear that fans are feeling Kendrick’s output more. It has been a rough week for Drake, and it could get a whole lot worse if “Not Like Us” becomes the number one song in the world.

Yesterday, DJ Akademiks was on stream and once again, it was not looking good for Drake. At one point, Akademiks spoke on some of the lies that were spewed during the feud. In the eyes of Ak, Kendrick certainly lied on Drake during multiple points. However, as it pertains to Drake, he noted that the Dave Free and Whitney Alford claims were completely false. As many of you know, Drake kept trying to say that Dave Free and Whitney Alford had a child together. He doubled down on this in the cover art for “The Heart Part 6,” although it’s clear that this was just a narrative device.

DJ Akademiks Spills The Beans On Drake

Of course, this lie brings a lot of credibility issues to Drake’s side of the beef. Now, fans are questioning everything Drake said. Furthermore, fans now believe that “The Heart Part 6” is officially the worst song in the feud as it has been proven false. For now, the only allegation against Kendrick that is sticking, is the domestic violence claims. Kendrick has yet to say anything on this front, and fans are definitely concerned about the validity of the allegations.

Ludacris Ranks His Raps Skills Against Drake, Jay-Z & Lil Wayne

Ludacris is confident that he can put his rap skills to the test against some of the greatest rappers to touch a microphone, including Drake, Jay-Z and Lil Wayne. 


During the latest episode of Funky Friday with Cam Newton, Luda played a game of “Win, Lose, Draw,” where he had to pick himself or a fellow rapper as the winner in various categories.  

After crowning himself the victor in the music video category over DaBaby but conceding to Missy Elliott, Newton pitted Ludacris against Lil Wayne in a freestyle battle. 

“I think Wayne, he’s one of the greatest by the way, I think he’s admitted… he don’t freestyle a lot, so I would just say I would win that,” Ludacris said. “He makes songs quick as hell, don’t get me wrong.” 

Newton then asked who could create a better verse in under two hours, Ludacris or Jay-Z.  

“I would win on that one,” he argued before justifying his position. “That’s a strong statement to say that because again, Hov is definitely one of my favorites as well. Verses, man, I’m just gon’ go in and metaphor and style, in terms of flow, I’ma kill that s###. It’s not to say that Hov is not gon’ kill that s###.” 

Luda continued, “I got to, like every f###### word, every line, every style, every flow, every metaphor. I got to go.” 

While he acknowledged, “I’m great at hooks,” he gave that category to the OVO honcho. “Drake got Melodies and singing and stuff like that,” Ludacris said. “I give that to Drake, humbly speaking I’ll give him the hooks.”

21 Savage Opens Up About Drake & Metro Boomin Beef

21 Savage isn’t taking sides in the beef between Drake and Metro Boomin and believes the warring duo will ultimately settle their differences.  


21’s former collaborators have been at odds for some time, but the bad blood only intensified with Metro and Future’s collaborative album We Don’t Trust You. The project featured K. Dot’s Drake diss “Like That,” which kicked off the beef that consumed Hip-Hop for weeks. 

However, during an Instagram Live Sunday (May 12) 21 Savage insisted he’s remaining neutral.  Furthermore, he thinks Drake and Metro Boomin will squash the beef.

“Don’t keep coming on to my muthafuckin Live talking about no muthafuckin beef,” Savage said. “Metro my brother and Drake my brother. Them n##### going to figure that s### out eventually.” 

While he is staying out of Metro Boomin and Drake’s beef, 21 Savage had something to say when Soulja Boy unleashed on the producer over a resurfaced tweet this past weekend.  

“Go delete that tweet,” Soulja Boy told Metro Boomin in an Instagram video. “I don’t give a f### if it was three years old, I don’t give a f### if it was 20 years old.”  

He captioned his post, “He got 24 hours to delete that tweet,” to which 21 Savage replied, “Or what.” 

Soulja Boy responded to 21 Savage via his Instagram Stories, threatening to “beat the f###” out of him and clowning him for being British. He also called out 21 Savage for staying clear of Kendrick Lamar and Drake’s feud. 






21 Savage Believes Drake & Metro Boomin Will Resolve Their Beef

21 Savage isn’t picking sides between Drake and Metro Boomin’s ongoing beef and instead says they’re both his brothers. When fans began asking him about the feud on Instagram Live, he suggested he thinks they’ll be back on good terms eventually. “Don’t keep coming on to my motherf*cking Live talking about no motherf*cking beef,” Savage said. “Metro my brother and Drake my brother. Those n***as going to figure that sh*t out eventually.”

When DJ Akademiks shared a clip of the stream on Instagram, fans had mixed opinions on Savage’s neutrality. “I can’t kick it with someone who’s neutral, for some reason I always hate those people more then the person I got beef with,” one fan wrote. Another user countered: “Savage showing he a real n***a cause he ain’t picking side he basically saying you n****s get it together.”

Metro Boomin kicked off the feud with Drake by teaming up with Kendrick Lamar for the song, “Like That,” back in March. In the ensuing months, he teamed up with several other artists interested in dissing the Toronto rapper including The Weeknd, ASAP Rocky, and more. Most recently, he dropped the diss beat, “BBL Drizzy,” while asking fans to put lyrics to the song. Drake addressed him on his track, “Push Ups,” remarking: “Metro, shut your ho ass up and make some drums, n***a.”

Drake Reportedly Created His Own Security Company Amid Recent Trespassing Incidents

Following the recent trespassing incidents on Drake’s Toronto property, local outlet CBC News noticed a vehicle parked outside with the name, “Jungle Lion Security,” on it. When they did some digging, they came to learn the company has no website and the Ontario Transportation Ministry records show the license plate number on the car is registered to Drake himself. Additionally, the only name mentioned with the company in a Ministry of the Solicitor General report is Nessel Beezer, better known as Drake’s longtime associate, Chubbs.

The update comes after someone shot a security guard in a drive-by shooting outside of the Toronto rapper’s mansion, last week. It’s unclear whether the man worked with Jungle Lion Security. In the days since that incident, several more people have attempted to break onto the property.

Police Investigate Shooting Outside Drake’s Mansion

While Drake hasn’t spoken at length about the incidents, he did comment on the abundance of media coverage his property has been getting over the last week in a post on his Instagram Story. “@cp24breakingnews can we discuss the chopper flight times over the house cause I won’t lie I’m trying to sleep anytime after 3pm works for me,” he wrote.

Drake Creates Security Firm Due to Trespassers, Uninvited Guests

After years of suffering from trespassers and uninvited guests, Drake reportedly created his own security company that are allegedly hired to safeguard his sprawling estate.

Drake’s Own Personal Security Company Guards His Toronto Mansion

According to a CBC News report, published last Thursday (May 9), Drake created a security firm that allegedly operates on his Toronto property. This after Drizzy had to endure multiple trespassers invading home for several years, which required him to have security outside his home.

The Canadian news channel reported that in September 2019, the city of Toronto approved Drake’s request to construct extra tall fences around his property to keep uninvited guests out. Due to multiple calls to the police, city officials were informed that security was ultimately Drake’s responsibility.

Following a drive-by shooting outside Drizzy’s mansion, dubbed “The Embassy,” last Tuesday—which left a security guard seriously wounded—CBC News discovered a parked vehicle outside the residence belonging to the rap star’s security firm.

In their video report, which can be viewed below, the white Nissan Rogue positioned near the property front gates bears the name Jungle Lion Security. Upon further inspection, via the Ontario Transportation Ministry records, the license plate number associated with the Jungle Lion Security vehicle is registered to Drake himself, listed under his birth name, Aubrey D. Graham.

Although Jungle Lion Security does not appear to have a website, its name is listed in the registry of private security firms published by Ontario’s Ministry of the Solicitor General. The only person named in the firm’s profile report is Nessel Beezer, better known as Chubbs, who is Drake’s Head of Security.

Public documents reveal Beezer’s involvement in numerous business ventures using the name “Jungle Lion.” This includes Jungle Lion Management, which operated Pick 6ix, a now-shuttered sports bar in downtown Toronto that had ties to Drake.

The name Chubbs may be familiar to rap fans as his moniker was mentioned during Drake’s infamous rap battle with Kendrick Lamar. On “Euphoria,” K-Dot questioned Chubbs role as security with the line, “You gon’ make a n***a bring back Puff, let me see if Chubbs really crash somethin’.”

On “Not Like Us,” K-Dot throws Chubbs under the proverbial bus with the line, “They tell me Chubbs the only one that get your hand-me-downs.”

XXL has reached out to Drake’s rep for comment.

Two Men Have Been Stopped By Security Detail on Drake’s Toronto Property

CBC News’ report comes as two separate people were detained by security at Drake’s property in T.O. last week. The first incident happened on Wednesday (May 8) where a man trying to gain access to Drake’s residence was stopped by security outside the property.

“Officers were called after a person attempted to gain access to the property,” a rep for the Toronto Police Department told XXL. “The person was apprehended under the mental health act.”

Last Thursday (May 9), a second man tried to enter into the OVO Sound leader’s Toronto mansion.

“At approximately 3:30 p.m. today, police were called about a trespasser on the property,” a TPD spokesperson told XXL. “That person got into an altercation with security guards prior to police arrival and was taken to hospital. We are investigating.”

Then, on Saturday (May 11), the same man returned to Drake’s property claiming that he was trying to retrieve his bike left behind from Thursday’s incident. The intruder was immediately confronted by security. When Toronto police arrived, the man was ordered to leave but he wouldn’t comply. As a result, the individual was escorted off the premises and issued a citation.

The intruders are separate incidents from a shooting that occurred at Drizzy’s mansion last week, which injured a security guard.
