Beyoncé Loses Airforce Vet Uncle After Death At Age 77
Beyoncé’s uncle has passed away aged 77. The music superstar’s mother Tina Knowles announced the death of her brother Rowland Martin Buyincé, also known as Butch, on Instagram.
“My Beautiful big brother Butch went to be with God this weekend,” she wrote alongside a black-and-white photo of Butch in military uniform. “I will miss him so much ! He was a career Airforce man. He loved riding Motorcycles was a black Belt in Karate and had the most beautiful green eyes and good looks. He was a great story teller.
“He had an incredible wife Jeanette and devoted daughter Dana two beautiful grandchildren Yvette and Roland. He was greatly loved. Sail on Butch Rowland Martin (Butch) Buyince’ June 1946 – Feb 2024 RIP.”
The family news comes almost two weeks after Tina, 70, attended the Luar fashion show in New York with her daughters Beyoncé and Solange Knowles. They sat front row while Solange’s son Daniel ‘Julez’ Smith Jr. walked the runway.
Days later, Tina and Beyoncé attended the New York premiere of the Netflix movie “Mea Culpa,” starring Beyoncé’s childhood friend and Destiny’s Child bandmate Kelly Rowland.
