Areej stays “Guided” [Video]

West London-born Moroccan-Sudanese emerging singer Areej shares the visuals for “Guided” her lead single. The track is an ode to finding that silver lining in the dark clouds above and also to cherish the small things in life. Backed by a somber and soulful backdrop, Areej delivers such a remarkable vocal performance that is part sultry and angelic. Her vocal tone sounds like a mantra and slowly draws listeners in as the song progresses.

The visual directed by Areej and acclaimed director Charlie Rees of Fuego Films visual is expressive and engaging with its moody and somber aesthetics. It blends expressive performance shots of Areej in different spots using seamless transitions to tie it all together. “Guided” is taken from Areej’s five-track opening statement EP slated for release in early 2022.
