Arms and Sleepers deliver sublime vibes in “thru & true”

Arms and Sleepers make their entry on our site with their new cinematic single titled “thru & true.” The sublime beat is ripe with ethereal strings, warm pulsating basslines, soft drum grooves, and angelic vocal samples.

“thru & true” is the third single to be taken from Arms and Sleepers’ forthcoming album former kingdoms, which is based on group member Mirza Ramic‘s personal experience as a child refugee emigrating to Arizona from the war in his native Bosnia.

The album titled former kingdoms, is a reference to all the places left behind upon arrival to the US, the album attempts to capture a moment in time – an immigrant’s journey to America and the initial shock of facing a completely unknown geographical and cultural environment.
