Producer/instrumentalist Connor Terrones is a multi-faceted artist who blends more than a handful of genres into his repertoire. His latest effort “Ain’t No Sunshine” is a cover of the classic Bill Withers song and sees him teaming up with rapper/songwriter Mxlcxlm Z. Bolstered by lush and silky textures and lively drums, the rapper pours his heart out on wax as he reflects on having his heart broken and the resulting emotions that come with it. The chorus is quite engaging too and interpolates the original with a unique soulful twist.
