Conscience Rhyme is in his element in new single “I’m A Pro” (feat. OpSolo) [Video]

Born and raised in Miami Florida, Conscience Rhyme has always been a student of the culture and was influenced at an early age by the likes of Eric B & Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, Public Enemy and others. He formed the group Purgatory with his rhyme partner Opsolo in 1996 and he released his debut album The Unauthorized Bio pf Patrick J. Wilcox in 2013.

Presently, he is working on his sophomore album and in the interim, shares the visuals for the single “I’m A Pro” which features his longtime friend and collaborator OpSolo. The track is built on a moody and solemn texture and punchy drum grooves that blend with Conscience Rhyme’s fusion of insightful and bravado rhyme schemes. He reflects on the journey thus far and how he carved his path with much perseverance. Opsolo comes through on the third and last verse with a smooth flow and candid lyrics that dwell on the daily struggles of black folks in the US of A.

Shot exclusively in Atlanta by artist extraordinaire MRK SX. This single is dedicated to his mother who sadly passed after the music video filming.

“I’m A Pro” is the second single off Conscience Rhyme’s forthcoming sophomore album Jacqui’s Son.
