Lil Yachty, Dr. Umar Disagree on Reason Why Black Women Get BBLS

Lil Yachty and Dr. Umar have a discussion about Brazilian butt lifts on the rapper’s podcast  and walked away from the discussion agreeing to disagree about the reason Black women are having cosmetic surgery done on their backsides.

Lil Yachty and Dr. Umar Talk BBLs

On Wednesday (Feb. 28), Lil Yachty had Dr. Umar as a guest on his A Safe Place Podcast. During the nearly two-hour discussion, which can be viewed below, the topic of Black women getting BBLs comes up and Dr. Umar has pointed thoughts on the matter. He blames the rise in augmented cakes on Black men, specifically rappers who objectify women.

“I’m not holding you accountable for what everybody does,” Umar tells Boat around the 1:14:00 mark of the interview below, “but, there’s few mediums of media that have sexually objectified the Black woman more than hip-hop. So, If I’m  a little Black girl and every music video I turn on she’s half dressed with big breasts and a big a*s and I want a Black man to want me and like me and I probably ain’t got no daddy cause the White man locked him up or the police killed him off. What am I gonna do to be attractive?”

He continues: “I’m gonna go and get a BBL. What I’m saying is Black men, not just hip-hop I wanna clarify, Black men period. Professional Black men, athletes, every day brothers. All of us. I don’t wanna make the hip-hop community more responsible, but y’all definitely leading the pack in terms of the sexual objectification of the Black woman.”

Lil Yachty wasn’t in agreement with Umar.

“I think a lot of women make decisions,” the Quality Control rapper retorted. “A: for themselves. And B: to impress their friends just as much as a man. I think a lot of women do things to like keep up with their friends…I didn’t say more but I do think…I think for themselves. They ain’t gotta be attractive I think it’s for self esteem.”

Lil Yachty Announces New Album

The new episode of Yatchy’s podcast with Dr. Umar comes two weeks after Boat announced he is dropping a new album with James Blake on Instagram.

“I mean, granted, I think James has worked with a quite substantial amount of hip-hop  artists. But this project is so left for both of us,” the Quality Control rapper said in the clip. “And then, aside from the one picture that James posted, which—he doesn’t have many followers actually—I don’t think people know that we know each other exist. So it’s just gon’ be like, ‘What the f**k? When they do this?'”

Hitkidd & Lil Gotit Would Rather Be “Secluded” On New Single: Stream

Hitkidd recently boosted up his production repertoire again on his prolific streak, teaming up with Lil Gotit for this new single, “Secluded.” Moreover, it’s a woozy cut with bright keys, stark but hard-hitting trap percussion, and a lot of dreamy atmosphere to really put you in a trance. Lyrically, the Atlanta spitter is boasting about the usual flexes with some simple but sharp bars, particularly placing an emphasis on how they’re moving silently and “posted somewhere you can’t be at.” While the “How I’m Pose To Live” MC keeps more or less the same few flows throughout, his energetic vocal delivery does more than enough to keep his lyrics fresh and engaging.

Furthermore, this marks a bit of a departure from what the Memphis producer has been doing recently. He’s done a lot to put on for his city’s classic sounds, recently teaming up with a host of fiery femcees for the Renegade project. However, across Hitkidd’s other production credits, including Bladee and Lil Uzi Vert, there’s clearly a lot of versatility and fundamental skills within his skillset. It also helps that Lil Gotit knows how to approach a track like “Secluded” with a healthy balance of force and calm patience in his performance, highlighting the instrumental’s intoxicating qualities. It’s exactly what he crafted on previous singles like “Dr. Marten,” so while this isn’t an exciting reinvention, it at least keeps the quality standard up to snuff.

Lil Baby & DJ Akademiks Feud Over Allegedly Painted Nails

It appears as though Lil Baby and DJ Akademiks are at it again, this time over some allegedly painted nails. Yesterday, Ak took to social media to call the rapper out for a clip from his new music video. In the clip, Lil Baby is seen flipping the bird, and his middle finger looks suspiciously shiny. Ak was quick to make note of this and to accuse the “Greedy” performer of wearing nail polish.

“Dis n***a ain’t been the same since then Michael Rubin parties,” he replied to the clip. “I kno his nails not painted .. man wats going on in rap.” He didn’t stop there, however. He went on to share a photo of Lil Baby alongside some male friends at Rubin’s iconic Independence Day white party last year. “The day we lost Lil Baby,” he captioned the post.

Lil Baby Denies Having Painted Nails

Lil Baby didn’t hesitate to fire back. Shortly after DJ Akademiks posted the accusations, he hopped online to respond. He took to his Instagram Story with a photo of his hand, highlighting his unpainted nails. “Y’all blogs gotta stop just posting anything,” he wrote. “I ain’t painting my MF nails. At this point y’all gotta see n***as like Akademiks got an agenda. Miss me with that weird sh*t (No lol).” While he insists his own nails weren’t painted, he wouldn’t be the first rapper to rock the look.

Drake, for example, frequently flexes his polished nails proudly. According to him, he keeps them polished to prevent himself from biting them. He’s previously called out those hating on him for it, calling the backlash homophobic. What do you think of Lil Baby and DJ Akademiks beefing again? What about the rapper denying having his nails painted? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Lil Baby and DJ Akademiks Are Beefing Again

Lil Baby and DJ Akademiks are back beefing after Ak called the Atlanta rapper out for appearing to wear nail polish in a new music video.

DJ Akademiks Calls Out Lil Baby

On Thursday night (March 28), Akademiks reposted a clip of a new Lil Baby music video on X, formerly known as Twitter. In the clip, which can be seen below, the Quality Control rapper appears to have on nail polish in some scenes where he is flipping the bird to the camera.

“Dis n***a ain’t been the same since then Michael Rubin parties… I kno his nails not painted .. man wats going on in rap,” Ak captioned the clip.

In a follow-up post, he shared a photo of Lil Baby at billionaire entrepreneur Michael Rubin’s 2023 July 4th party along with the caption, “The day we lost Lil Baby.”

Lil Baby Responds

Lil Baby responded a few hours later to Ak calling him out.

“Y’all blogs gotta stop just posting anything,” Baby wrote on his Instagram Story, along with a selfie showing himself from the waist down. “I ain’t painting my MF nails. At this point y’all gotta see n***as like Akademiks got an agenda. Miss me with that weird s**t (No lol).”

This is not the first time Baby and Ak have had an issue. Lil Baby dissed Ak on his 2022 album It’s Only Me for taking shots at Baby. In response, Ak said he would testify against Lil Baby in court.

Drake Hints At Kendrick Lamar Response: “You Know What I Gotta Do”

Drake fans are waiting with bated breath for his response to Kendrick Lamar’s “Euphoria” and it appears he’s headed to the studio.

On Tuesday morning (April 30), K. Dot finally replied to Drizzy after the OVO honcho dropped “Push Ups (Drop & Give Me 50)” and “Taylor Made Freestyle.” Both tracks responded to Future & Metro Boomin’s chart-topping single, “Like That” featuring Lamar.

Fans have been eating up Lamar’s six-minute Drake diss, preparing for Drake to return fire. However, the only reply so far came via his Instagram Stories, where he posted a clip from the movie 10 Things I Hate About You, referencing lyrics from “Euphoria.”

Nonetheless, Drake gave a strong indication he’s preparing another response for Kendrick Lamar.

On Tuesday evening, the Toronto megastar made a surprise appearance at Nicki Minaj’s tour stop in his hometown. The Young Money duo performed their collab “Needle” before Drake delivered a few more tracks.

However, it was his parting words that hinted at an impending reply. “I love you so much,” he said before leaving the stage. “You know what time it is. You know what I got to do.”

Although it appears Drake is heading to the studio, not everybody believes he should reply. Rick Ross, who also dissed Drizzy on “Champagne Moments,” took to Instagram with some advice.

“Look, white boy, I know we not friends, but lemme give you this advice ‘cause you ain’t got nobody ‘round you. Or you ain’t got no real n##### ‘round you.” he said.

“Don’t do it. Don’t go write an eight-minute verse,” he added, before insinuating that Lil Yachty would write Drake’s response to Kendrick Lamar anyway.

Rick Ross Warns Drake on Responding to Kendrick Lamar’s Diss

Rick Ross has chimed in with his thoughts about Kendrick Lamar’s ferocious Drake diss track, “Euphoria.” The Miami rhymer warned the Toronto rap star on what not to do when responding to K-Dot.

Rick Ross Warns Drake Not to Make a Lengthy Response to Kendrick Lamar

On Tuesday (April 30), hours after Kendrick Lamar delivered his verbal slap at Drake called “Euphoria,” Rick Ross hopped on his Instagram Story and offered his advice to the 6 God as it relates to responding to the Compton spitter.

In the IG video, which can be viewed below, Rozay advises Drake not to make a long response song to Kendrick.

“Stop. Don’t respond,” Ross advised. “You ain’t even peep when the intro came on with the Teddy Pendergrass that was that Black vibe.”

“Don’t do it,” he continued. “Don’t go write an eight-minute verse that I know n***a [Lil] Yachty, I know you want to get that money you ain’t wrong n***a, keep buying them big houses.”

Ross concluded: “I’ma tell you this like a real n***a. Ain’t no mo BBLs. Ain’t no mo ass fillers Ain’t no mo cheek fillers.”

The Maybach Music Group honcho is referring to the past rumors that Drake had a nose job, BBL and plastic surgery to have 6-pack abs during his career.

Kendrick Empties the Clip at Drake on “Euphoria”

In response to Drake’s diss tracks “Push Ups” and “Taylor Made Freestyle,” Kendrick delivered a fiery response with “Euphoria.” The Cardo-produced diss marks Kenny’s official response to Drizzy’s diss songs from early April.

The Compton rhymer didn’t hold back as he lyrically tore down Drake on the six-minute-long song. Among some of K-Dot’s best lyrical jabs include:

• On whether J. Cole and Drake desire to maintain a friendship with him, Kendrick name drops YNW Melly, who is currently standing trial for the double murder of two associates.

“Yeah, Cole and Aubrey know I’m a selfish n***a/The crown is heavy, huh/I pray they my real friends, if not, I’m YNW Melly”

• Kendrick even throws Drake’s collaborator and friend Lil Yachty under the proverbial bus.

“I’m allergic to the lame s**t, only you like bein’ famous/Yachty can’t give you no swag neither, I don’t give a f**k ’bout who you hang with”

Kendrick Lamar is not playing games in his lyrical battle with Drake.

Kendrick Lamar’s Best Lyrical Jabs at Drake on ‘Euphoria’

Kendrick Lamar has taken over the conversation in hip-hop today with his new Drake diss “Euphoria.” The six-minute-long song features the Compton rapper delivering a relentless verbal assault on Drizzy, with no regret or mercy. The Cardo-produced diss is in response to Drake’s two diss tracks, “Push Ups” and “Taylor Made Freestyle.”

The song’s cover art contains a screenshot of the Oxford dictionary definition of “euphoria,” likely a reference to the HBO series Euphoria, which Drake serves as an executive producer.

Kenny goes beast mode on Drake, leaving no stone unturned in his comprehensive lyrical analysis of The Boy from Toronto.

Kendrick Lamar’s Calmly Dismantles Drake on “Part 1” of “Euphoria”

In the melodic “Part 1” of the song, K-Dot calmly dismantled the Toronto rap superstar.

“You movin’ just like a degenerate, heavy antic, it’s feelin’ distasteful/Why calculate you, not as calculated, I can even predict your angles/Fabricate stories on the family front, ’cause you heard Mr. Morale/A pathetic master manipulator, I can smell the tales on you now,” he raps on the song.

Kendrick adds: “You not a rap artist, you a scam artist with the hopes of bеing accepted/Tommy Hilfiger stood out, but FUBU nеver had been your collection.”

He concludes: “Know you a master manipulator, and a habitual liar too/ But don’t tell no lie ’bout me, and I won’t tell truths ’bout you.”

A Breakdown of Kendrick’s Lyrical Jabs at Drake on “Euphoria”

On “Part II” of the song, the beat switches and Kendrick is in full attack mode. Here’s a rundown of his lyrical shots at Drake.

• Kendrick mentions Drake buying Tupac Shakur’s crown ring, which he believes made ‘Pac turn in his grave.

Somebody had told that me you got a ring, on God, I’m ready to double the wage/I rather do that, than let a Canadian n***a make ‘Pac turn in his grave

• Kendrick name drops YNW Melly, who is on trial for double murder, when referring to whether J. Cole and Drake want to remain cordial with him or not.

Yeah, Cole and Aubrey know I’m a selfish n***a/The crown is heavy, huh/I pray they my real friends, if not, I’m YNW Melly

• In a clever double entendre, K-Dot makes references to Gunna’s “Pushin P” and rapper Pusha T, whom Drake engaged in a lyrical battle with in 2018.

I don’t like you poppin’ s**t, that s**t for real, I inherit the beef/Yeah, f**k all that pushin’ P, let me see you push-a-T/You better off spinnin’ again on him, you think about pushin’ me?

We ain’t gotta get personal, this a friendly faith, you should keep it that way/I know some s**t about niggas that make Gunna Wunna look like a saint

• Kendrick lists all the things he hates about Drake, possibly referencing DMX’s 2012 The Breakfast Club interview.

I hate the way that you walk, the way that you talk/I hate the way that you dress/I hate the way you sneak diss, if I catch flight, it’s gon’ be direct/We hate the b***hes you f**k, ’cause they confuse themselves with real women/And notice, I said “We,” it’s not just me, I’m what the culture feelin'”

• Kendrick raises questions regarding Drake’s multi-ethnic background and his closeness to Black culture.

How many more fairytale stories ’bout your life ’til we had enough?/How many more Black features ’til you finally feel that you black enough

• Kendrick disses Chubbs who was Drake’s former Head of Security and claims that Drizzy has no classic albums in his discography.

You gon’ make a n***a bring back Puff, let me see if Chubbs really crash somethin’/Yeah, my first one like my last one, it’s a classic, you don’t have one

• Kendrick pokes fun at the 6 God over rumors he underwent plastic surgery to get 6-pack abs.

Let your core audience stomach that/Didn’t tell ’em where you get your abs from

• Kendrick even throws Drake’s friend Lil Yachty under the bus.

I’m allergic to the lame s**t, only you like bein’ famous/Yachty can’t give you no swag neither, I don’t give a f**k ’bout who you hang with

• Interestingly, Kendrick reveals that Drake reached out once for a feature, which surprised him considering the heated tension between them for over the past decade.

I hate the way that you walk, the way that you talk/I hate the way that you dress/Surprised you wanted that feature request/You know that we got some s**t to address

• Kendrick wants Drizzy to stop using the N-word in his songs.

I even hate when you say the word “N***a,” but that’s just me, I guess/Some s**t just cringeworthy, you ain’t even gotta be diva I guess

• Kendrick takes a lyrical jab at Drake for always fawning over Sexyy Red and questions the Toronto rap star’s manhood.

Matter of fact, I ain’t even bleed him yet, can I bleed him? Bet/When I see you stand by Sexyy Red, I believe you see two bad b***hes/I believe you don’t like women, that’s real competition, you might pop a*s with ’em

• Kendrick reveals Drake slapped a cease and desist letter for the “Like That” (Remix) featuring Ye.

Try cease and desist on the “Like That” record/H*e, what? You ain’t like that record

• Kendrick’s references Drake’s 2016 diss track “Back to Back” during his beef with Meek Mill.

“Back To Back”, I like that record/I’ma get back to that for the record

• Kendrick reveals Drake slapped a cease and desist letter for the “Like That” (Remix) featuring Ye.

Try cease and desist on the “Like That” record/H*e, what? You ain’t like that record

• Kendrick responds to Drake’s line, “What the f**k is this, a twenty-v-one, n***a?” on “Push Ups” and ghostwriting claims.

Ain’t twenty-v-one, it’s one-v-twenty if I gotta smack niggas that write with you/Yeah, bring ’em out too, I clean ’em out too/Tell Bean that he better stay right with you

• Kendrick addresses Drake’s usage of A.I. to recreate Tupac Shakur and Snoop Dogg’s voices on “Taylor Made Freestyle.”

Am I battlin’ ghost or A.I.? N***a feelin’ like Joel Austeen/Funny, he was in a film called “AI”/

Here Are the Complete Lyrics for Kendrick Lamar’s New Diss Track

Kendrick Lamar has finally returned fire with his new diss track “Euphoria.” The song appeared on K-Dot’s YouTube page on Tuesday (April 30), and serves as an official response to Drake’s two diss tracks “Push Ups” and “Taylor Made Freestyle” that the 6 God dropped earlier in April. The lengthy, three-part track was produced by Cardo, and also serves as Kendrick’s first new song since 2022’s Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers.

In the song, Kendrick again takes numerous jabs at Drake, who he mentions by name, while also taking shots at Lil Yachty and mentioning Sexyy Red and YNW Melly.

Full Lyrics for Kendrick Lamar’s Diss Track

Verse 1

Euphoria
Them super powers get neutralized I can only watch in silence
The famous actor we once knew is looking paranoid and now spiraling
You’re moving just like a degenerate, every antic is feeling distasteful
Why calculate, you’re not as calculated, I can even predict your angle
Fabricating stories on the family front cause your hurt Mr. Morale
Apathetic master manipulator, I can smell the tails on you now
You’re not a rap artist, you a scam artist with the hopes of being accepted
Tommy Hilfiger stood out but fubu never had been in your collection
I make music that electrify ’em
You make music that pacify em
I can double down on that line but spray you this time, that’s random acts of kindness
Know you a master manipulator, and a b***h, you a liar too
But don’t tell no lie ’bout me, and I won’t tell truths ’bout you

Shoo, shoo, shoo
Shoo, shoo, shoo
Bi-bi-bi-bi-bi

Verse 2

Yeah, I’m out the way, yeah, I’m low, okay
Yeah, the island right here’s remote, okay
I ain’t thinkin’ ’bout no reaper
N***a, I’m reapin’ what I sow, okay
Got a Benjamin and a Jackson all in my house, like I’m Joe, okay
Hellcat, made his own boys sit and type, sell they soul, okay
Everybody wanna be demon ’til they get chipped by your throwaway
And I might do a show a day, once a lame, always a lame
Oh, you thought the money, the power or fame would make you go away?
Have you ever played, have you ever? Okay, n***a, let’s play
Have you ever watched your enemy down like with a poker face?
Have you ever paid five-hundred thousand like to an open case?
Well, I have, and I felt that both, but I came out straight
I hate when I rap, I talk about guns, then somebody die
They turn it to nuns’, then hop online, like ‘Pray for my city’
He fakin’ for likes and digital hugs
His daddy a killer, he wanna be junior, they must’ve forgot the s**t that they done
The mention must run in his family, but let it get shaky
I park your son
The very first time I shot me a drac’, the homie had told me that ‘Aim it this way’
I didn’t point down enough, today I show you I learn from those mistakes
Somebody had told me that you got a ring, on God, I’m ready to double the wage
I rather do that, than let a comedian n***a make Pac turn in his grave
Cutthroat business, you got s**t twisted
What is it? The brakes?
I hurt your feelings? You don’t wanna work with me no more? Okay
Yet, still he go left, and I see two of them kissin’ and huggin’ on stage
I love him to death, and that ain’t bars, I’ll explain that phrase
It’s nothin’ nobody can tell me, huh
I don’t wanna talk on no celly, huh
You know I got language barriers
There’s no accent you could sell me
Yeah, Cole and Aubrey know I’m a selfish n***a
The crown is heavy
I pray they my real friends, if not, then YNW Melly
I don’t like you poppin’ s**t at Pharrell, man i’ll inherit the beef
Yeah, f**k all that pushin’ P, let me see you pusha-T
You better off spinnin’ again on him you think about pushing me
He’s Terrance Thorne, I’m Terrance Crawford yeah I’m whooping feet
We ain’t gotta get personal, this a friendly faith, you should keep it that way
I know some s**t about n***as that make Gunna Wunna look like a saint
This ain’t been ’bout critics, not about gimmicks, not about who the greatest
It’s always been about love and hate, now let me say I’m the biggest hater
I hate the way that you walk, the way that you talk
I hate the way that you dress
I hate the way you sneak diss, if I catch flight, it’s gon’ be direct
We hate the b***hes you f**k, ’cause they confuse themselves with real women
And notice, I said “We”, it’s not just me, I’m what the culture feelin’
How many more fairytale stories ’bout your life ’til we had enough?
How many more Black features ’til you finally feel that you Black enough?
I like Drake with the melodies, I don’t like Drake when he act tough
You gon’ make a n***a bring back Puff, let me see if Chubbs really crash somethin’
Yeah, my first one like my last one, it’s a classic, you don’t have one
Let your core audience stomach that
Didn’t tell ’em where you get your abs from
V12, it’s a fast one, bow-bow-bow, last one
Headshot for the year, you better walk around like Daft Punk
Remember

Verse 3

Aye, Top Dawg, who the f**k they think they playin’ with?
‘Extortion’ my middle name as soon as you jump off that place b***h
I’m allergic to the lame s**t, only you like bein’ famous
Yachty can’t give you no swag either
I don’t give a f**k about who you hang with
I hate the way that you walk, the way that you talk
I hate the way that you dress
Surprised you wanted that feature request
You know that we got some s**t to address
I even hate when you say the word n***a, but that’s just me I guess
Some s**t just cringeworthy, he ain’t even gotta be deep I guess
Still love when you see success
Everything with me is blessed
Keep making me dance, waving my hand and there won’t be no threat
I’m knowin’ they call you The Boy, but where is a man? ‘Cause I ain’t see him yet
A matter of fact I ain’t even bleed him yet, can I bleed him yet?
When I see you stand by Sexyy Red I believe you see two bad b***hes
I believe you don’t like women, it’s real competition, you might pop a*s with ’em
Let’s speak on percentage, show me your splits
I make sure I double back with you
You was signed to a n***a that’s signed to a n***a that said he was signed to that n***a
Try cease and desist on the ‘Like That’ record
Hoe, what? You ain’t like that record
‘Back To Back,’ I like that record
I’ma get back to that for the record
Why would I call around tryna get dirt on n***as?
Y’all think all of my life is rap?
That’s hoe s**t, I got a son to raise, but I can see you know nothin’ ’bout that
Wakin’ them up, know nothin’ ’bout that
And tell ’em to pray, know nothin’ ’bout that
And givin’ ’em tools to walk through life like day by day, know nothin’ ’bout that
Teachin’ the most, and take all the discipline, listen man, you don’t know nothin’ ’bout that
Speakin’ the truth and consider what God’s considern’, you don’t know nothin’ ’bout that
Ain’t twenty-v-one, it’s one-v-twenty if I gotta smack n***as that write with you
Yeah, bring ’em out too, I clean ’em out too

Tell ’em run to America to imitate heritage, they can’t imitate this violence
What I learn, these n***as don’t like the West Coast
And I’m fine with it, I push the line with it
Pick a n***a off one at a time with it
We can be on a three hour time difference
Don’t speak on the family, crodie
It can get deep in he family, crodie
Talk about me and my family, crodie?
Someone go bleed in your family, crodie
I be at Newhall King eatin’ fried rice with a dip sauce and blamy, crodie
Tell me you’re cheesin’, fam
We can do this right now on the camera, crodie
Ayy, f**k y’all n***as, I don’t trust y’all n***as
I wave one finger and dump y’all n***as, like “Mmm”
Field goal punt y’all n***as, stay punk y’all n***as, nobody never took my food
Whoever that’s f***in’ with him, f**k you n***as, and f**k the industry too
If you takin’ it there, I’m takin’ it further
Psst, that’s somethin’ that you don’t wanna do
We don’t wanna hear you say n***a no more
