Travis Scott Jumped On Caitlin Clark Bandwagon Years Ago According To NBA Trainer

Any folks who believe Travis Scott is a fair-weather Caitlin Clark fan has been sipping the Kool-Aid, or in this case, too many Cactis, according to celebrity and NBA trainer Chris Brickley.

In a recent Instagram post, Brickley revealed that La Flame actually was the first person to reach out to him about Iowa’s all-time leading scorer. Apparently, Scott has been watching Clark ball at Iowa University for years and even went as far as referring her to Brickley for her initial training session with him. Keep in mind, Brickley trains NBA stars such as LeBron James, Paolo Banchero and countless others. Earlier this year, the pair linked up at one of Clarks home games with the Hawkeyes and even flicked up during the occasion, so you know it’s real.

And ahead of the Final Four match up between U-Conn and Iowa, Brickley cleared the air whilst also giving his blessing to both athletes, who presumably have major WNBA careers ahead of them.

“I’ve seen people calling @travisscott a bandwagon @caitlinclark22 fan,” he wrote in part in the caption. “Well in 2021, he was the first person to ever text me or bring her up to me. He’s really been a day 1 Caitlin Clark Fan. Also S/O my Brodie for his new college apparel line with @lids @fanatics & @mitchellandness ‼️ It’s too fire!!! I’m def a big @caitlinclark22 fan and I’m excited to get in the gym with her but I’m also a big @paigebueckers fan, we’ve been grinding for years!!! TONIGHT GONNA BE A GREAT ONE!!”

So what y’all think? Should Travis Scott follow up his recent Mitchell and Ness college collaboration with Lids and Fanatics with an actual partnership with Texas Longhorns to scout women’s talent?

Travis Scott Launches “First-Of-Its-Kind” NCAA Collection At LSU Campus

Travis Scott is a mogul in every sense of the word. The rapper/producer has excelled when it comes to broadening his influence outside of music, and his latest collaboration is proof. Scott launched a brand new NCAA collection that’s being touted as the “first-of-its-kind”, and he did so at LSU campus. The collection will offer designs based on 28 universities from around the nation, including Alabama, Georgia, Houston, and Louisiana State University.

The “Jack Goes Back To College” collection launched on April 3. Scott collaborated with three other notable brands to bring the collection to life, including Fanatics, Lids, and Mitchell & Ness. You can purchase “Jack Goes Back To College” items through each brand’s platforms, as well as Scott’s official website. The collection consists of t-shirts, crewnecks, hoodies, shorts, and more, and will priced between $68 and $160. The rapper commemorated the launch of the “Jack Goes Back To College” line by meeting with LSU students and signing merchandise. He even signed one student’s arm.

Scott’s New Collection Is Called “Jack Goes Back To College”

The rapper also posed with several notable LSU athletes, including Flau’jae Johnson, Jayden Daniels and Angel Reese. Scott even appeared on Reese’s Instagram Live, asserting that LSU is going to “make it to the league.” Scott masterminded the “Jack Goes Back To College” collection with businessman Michael Rubin, who was also on hand during the LSU unveiling. Rubin has been effusive in his praise for moguls like Scott and Tom Brady, as evidenced by an Instagram post he made back in May 2023.

“Thank you Tommy and Trav – what an amazing discussion,” he wrote. “Can’t wait to watch my guys kill it in football and in business.” Scott’s LSU stop was the first of what will ultimately be a three-stop tour. The rapper moved on to the University of Austin on April 4, where he participated in a business and entrepreneurship discussion with Rubin. The third and final stop on the “Jack Goes Back To College” mini-tour will be the bookstore at the University of Southern California.

Drake Shoots Fake Gunfire at Travis Scott Prop

Drake is seen in a video shooting fake gunfire at a Travis Scott prop during a recent performance, but he’s apparently been doing that.

Drake Shoots Fake Gunfire at Travis Scott Prop

On Monday (April 1), a video emerged online of Drake shooting fake gunfire at an inflated Travis Scott head during a fiery performance of the latter’s song “Meltdown.” The video caused fans to assume Drake did it due to some rumored tensions he may or may not have with Travis Scott over Kendrick Lamar’s “Like That” verse. However, other fans who had been to previous Drake shows on his It’s All a Blur Tour – Big as the What? noted the 6 God had done it during every show.

Regardless, things could be tense between La Flame and Drizzy. Video emerged last week of Trav pushing for Future and Metro Boomin to debut Kendrick Lamar’s alleged Drake diss during their performance at Rolling Loud California. While Metro and Pluto ended up only playing a snippet of the track, it was enough to get fans thinking that maybe Travis Scott was beefing with Drake, too.

Kendrick Lamar Allegedly Has Full Drake Diss Ready to Go

Kendrick Lamar appeared on Future and Metro’s new album We Don’t Trust You, which dropped on March 22. On the track “Like That,” Kendrick appeared to take aim at Drake and J. Cole. Streamer Adin Ross said that’s likely just the beginning because he heard that Kendrick’s got a full-blown diss track for Drake locked in the vault.

“Last couple nights I’ve been going out,” Ross began. “And I bumped into somebody who’s very close on this Kendrick, Drake situation and there’s a bird on the street that Kendrick already has a full-on diss track ready to drop for Drake. Kendrick, I’m a fan of hip-hop and if you’re gonna diss Drake drop that s**t!”

J. Cole hasn’t made a peep since the song dropped, but Drake has made numerous subliminal digs at his enemies. Most notably on Instagram last week, Drake said he was “ready to go to war” against the opps if it came down to that.

Travis Scott Performs ‘My Eyes’ and ‘Fe!n’ on SNL

Travis Scott hit up Studio 8H and performed “My Eyes” and “Fe!n” with Playboi Carti on Saturday Night Live.

Travis Scott Rocks SNL with “My Eyes” and “Fe!n” Musical Performances

On Saturday (March 30), Travis Scott hit the stage at Saturday Night Live and performed two songs from his fourth studio album, Utopia.

For his first set, the rapper-producer performed his introspective track “My Eyes.” Dressed in all-black, La Flame kicked off his performance by laying on what appears to be a couch before rising to his feet and raps about the struggles he often faces with being a rap star. Travis places a lot of emphasis on visuals. So while he was performing, behind him was an X-ray image of him rocking the mic and appearing as if he was on fire.

For his second performance of the night, Travis Scott delivered an energetic performance of his hyper track “Fe!n” with his friend Playboi Carti. Shot with a shaky camera, Travis and Playboi spit their rebellious bars while weathering a dark storm complete with lighting bolts and a smoke machine.

Please Don’t Destroy Guys Get “Too High” While Partying With Travis Scott

Not only did Travis Scott perform on SNL, he also appeared in a funny sketch by comedy troupe Please Don’t Destroy who are SNL stars Ben Marshall, John Higgins and Martin Herlihy. For their sketch, the trio are invited by the show’s host Ramy Youssef to hang out with Travis.

The guys reluctantly go with Youssef and once they jump in Travis’ limo, the madcap begins. Apparently, the trio got so high with Travis, their eyes begin to bug out and they start hallucinating in the club. Meanwhile, Youssef, who didn’t get high, is questioning why he wore shorts to the club. But don’t worry he fixed the problem by creating napkin pants.

The trio’s night ends with them at the hospital and the doctor informs them that they weren’t high after all because they only smoked CBD. The doctor added that they were suffering from a medical term called “being gigantic pu***ies.”

Ouch! You can watch Please Don’t Destroy’s hilarious video below.

Travis Scott & Playboi Carti Drop Dizzying Music Video For “FE!N”

It is crazy to think that Travis Scott put out UTOPIA just over eight months ago. It feels like the album only dropped about one month ago with how much we are still bumping the record. While it did not nab La Flame that elusive GRAMMY award he so desperately seeks, it was still easily a top-five LP from 2023. Tracks like “I KNOW ?” “MY EYES,” “TELEKINESIS,” “MODERN JAM,” and so many others were some of the strongest records of the year. “I KNOW ?”, arguably the biggest song from the tape, got its well-deserved visuals. However, fans have been waiting on the “FE!N” music video, too.

But, we can officially say now that we do not have to continue to hope for that any longer. Travis and the song’s feature, Playboi Carti, put together some freaky visuals for the rage collaboration. Some fans have been mixed on the visuals for the album so far, but maybe some will enjoy the cool shots for “FE!N.” If you like spinning videography, then this is the video for you.

Watch Music Video For “FE!N” By Travis Scott & Playboi Carti

Both rappers are constantly shown rotating at blistering speeds, along with some random people, beds, cars, and more. We feel that the artistic reaction matches what “FE!N” was set out to do. It is supposed to give you the feeling that you can run through a wall unscathed. The shots are just as crazy as the beat, evoking a sense of just raging out of control.

What are your thoughts on the brand-new music video for “FE!N” by Travis Scott and Playboi Carti? Does this video fit the song well, why or why not? Is this song still in your rotation? What is your favorite part about the video and why? Who had the better performance on the track? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Travis Scott Requests Dismissal From Astroworld Festival Lawsuit

Travis Scott is looking to avoid a major legal burden. Back in 2021 his Astroworld Festival in Houston became the site of a now notorious festival tragedy. As the crowd rushed the stage during Scott’s performance, tons of people were dangerously compressed with fatal results. A total of 10 people died as a result of the performance getting wildly out of hand. Subsequently, after an investigation into the incident a grand jury declined to indict Scott or anyone else with criminal charges spawning from the tragedy.

But that doesn’t mean anyone is legally off the hook. Hundreds of lawsuits were filed in the months following the festival almost all of which name Scott as a defendant. Now in a newly filed motion he’s attempting to separate himself from the proceedings. “Like any other adrenaline-inducing diversion, music festivals must balance exhilaration with safety and security—but that balance is not the job of performing artists, even those involved in promoting and marketing performances. Which only makes sense: Performing artists, even those who engage in certain promotional activities, have no inherent expertise or specialized knowledge in concert safety measures, venue security protocols, or site-design,” the motion his lawyers filed reads.

Travis Scott Seeking Release From Astroworld Festival Lawsuits

This request for removal comes just a few days after some concerning news about the tragedy leaked via court docs. They showed that one of the heads of security at the festival expressed concerns about overcrowding ahead of the tragedy. In Scott’s dismissal request they specifically mention adjustments being made beforehand in an attempt to alleviate concerns, though they obviously didn’t do enough.

Last week, Scott contributed to what it likely to be one of the biggest rap records of the year. He teamed up with Future, Metro Boomin, and Playboi Carti for the song “TYPE SH*T.” What do you think of Travis Scott asking to be removed from the Astroworld Festival lawsuits? Do you think he has a point that safety isn’t the responsibility of the artists performing? Let us know in the comment section below.

Travis Scott & Kid Cudi Surprise Drop Collab Tape “WEBSTER II” Leaving Many People Questioning If It’s AI

It has been nearly four years since Travis Scott and Kid Cudi formed their duo THE SCOTTS. To celebrate them coming together, the dropped an inaugural self-titled single that did massive numbers. However, since then they have not put out any new material under that moniker. There were some rumblings from Cudi that a SCOTTS record would be a possibility in 2023 after shutting that down the year prior. But fans are still being left in the dark on that to this day. That is until today when Travis Scott and his mentor surprised everyone with an album called WEBSTER II (W E B S T E R I I).

Or did they? Fans have been blowing up X about the record, questioning if its real. Right of the bat, you can tell something fishy is going on here. For example, Uproxx confirmed that neither Scott nor Cudi did anything to promote it on social media. Also working against WEBSTER II is the fact that is credited to THE SCOTTS and JACKBOYS. Of course, the latter is Travis’ collective of Cactus Jack signees Don Toliver Sheck Wes, etc. that dropped their self-titled record in 2019. Furthermore, it is only up on Apple Music.

X Users React To WEBSTER II By Travis Scott & Kid Cudi

The last bit of confirmation that this unfortunately not real, comes from X users giving the actual origins of this tape. In the quoted reply above, he says that this an AI album from Scott called 4th Dimension, which he claims is “hacked.” Even though this turned out to be a hoax, fans who listened to it were digging it. At the time of writing, the project is still available on the platform. But we suspect it will be taken down by the end of the day. Scott and Cudi fans, just keep wishing for a SCOTTS album.

What are your thoughts on this AI Travis Scott and Kid Cudi album, WEBSTER II, dropping on Apple Music? Were you able to catch that it was not a real release? Did any tracks wind up standing out to you? Do you think we are ever going to get a SCOTTS album? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Astroworld Tragedy: New Expert Evidence Shows Organizers Of Travis Scott’s Festival Misjudged Crowd Capacity

Travis Scott and the organizers of his Astroworld music festival are facing renewed scrutiny after new court documents revealed that the event’s safety head expressed concerns about potential overcrowding prior to the deadly concert.

According to reports, Seyth Boardman, who helped create Astroworld’s operational plans, expressed apprehensions about accommodating 50,000 attendees in front of the stage days before the festival.

Had Boardman’s worries been addressed, the tragic events that unfolded on November 5, 2021, when a crowd surge at the concert in Houston led to the deaths of ten individuals and injured hundreds, may have never happened.

Boardman’s concerns highlight a broader issue of miscalculated crowd management strategies.

The recent filings in the mass civil litigation against the festival’s organizers, Live Nation, and Travis Scott himself include conversations and expert evidence suggesting a significant underestimation of the space required per person to avoid overcrowding.

Organizers erroneously believed the fire safety code permitted five square feet per person, whereas seven was required.

[embedded content]

This oversight contributed to the squeeze of approximately 50,000 people into a space designed for 34,500, exacerbating the risk of a crowd crush.

Additional concerns highlighted include the potential for gatecrashers to further swell the crowd numbers and a lack of effective monitoring for signs of crowd distress.

Security breaches on the day of the festival have also been identified as a critical factor that contributed to the tragedy.

In the wake of the Astroworld disaster, over 4,900 individuals alleging to be victims have pursued legal action, seeking billions in damages for what has been described as negligence in the event’s organization and management.

Drake, who performed with Travis Scott on the night, has been named in some of the lawsuits.

However, his legal team is seeking his dismissal from these cases because he was not involved in the festival’s planning and was unaware of any safety concerns.

So far, Travis Scott has cooperated with investigators. He conducted an eight-hour deposition in September 2023, and no criminal charges were levied against him.

The focus remains mainly on the broader event management and safety protocols that failed to prevent the tragedy.

The Astroworld incident has prompted a reassessment of crowd management and safety standards at large events, which could have potential implications for future festival planning and the legal responsibilities of artists and organizers.

Metro Boomin, Future, & Travis Scott Deliver The Dreamy Fan-Favorite “Cinderella”

Most hip-hop fans would agree on the fact that Soundcloud has given us incredible snippets. To play devil’s advocate, it may ruin the listening experience when a song gets leaked and then eventually released. But in the case of Future and Metro Boomin‘s “Cinderella,” fans of the unfinished version were dying to see it get officially dropped. There was some speculation that this was going to be on UTOPIA given the time it made its way onto Soundcloud.

Instead, its home is Future and Metro Boomin’s eagerly awaited WE DON’T TRUST YOU. The album has been getting everyone talking in its first day out thanks to Kendrick Lamar’s surprise appearance. His shots toward Drake and J. Cole have been the main focus of this project for the most part. But “Cinderella” is still a big deal as well and hearing Travis Scott on it still was the cherry on top.

Listen To “Cinderella” By Future, Metro Boomin, & Travis Scott

The unreleased version feels a little louder, while this official release relies a little heavier on the atmosphere from Future and Travis’ gravelly and subdued flows. Additionally, the twinkly synths that give the beat so much character are more prevalent and sound a little different too. Some are already complaining that the trio should have just stuck with the one everybody was used to. But we are here to say that Metro, Future, and Travis still did an incredible job keeping the spirit of the fan-favorite with the welcomed tweaks.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new song, “Cinderella,” by Future, Metro Boomin, and Travis Scott? Is this the best track on the album, why or why not? Who had the strongest performance on the record? Did the trio remaster the song well, or do you prefer the Soundcloud version more?
