He later moved to the city of Bangkok and toured with the indie band Rock Shreller and also around South East Asia as a DJ/producer. In his new endeavour, he returns to his hip-hop roots and is preparing to drop his debut solo project entitled Metanoia Seven, a 7 track body of work that explores his creative transformation and then some.

To kick things off, he unleashes the lead single “Grime Time” which sees him linking with veteran rapper Ill Bill (of Non-Phixion fame) for a pure display of lyrical jousting on a high level. Fliptrix shares new “Mantra No. 9” [Video]

After a two-year hiatus, British hip-hop OG Fliptrix returns to the forefront with a new single/video “Mantra No. 9”. Over a smooth bouncy backdrop, the veteran rapper delivers an aspiration-filled performance while also showcasing his versatility as a lyricist who goes beyond the norm to deliver the goods. The London-born emcee shares some gems about self-growth and finding freedom by unplugging from the proverbial Matrix and discarding certain things that might be holding one back from progressing.

The visual concept is brilliant as well and blends bright and off-kilter effects with Fliptrix’s stylish performances.

Fliptrix has been rhyming since he was a kid, performing ever since the doormen would let him into Speakers Corner, and his impact on the UK scene is as significant as his songs are adventurous and eye-opening. The London-born lyricist plies his trade as a solo artist, as well as being one-quarter of acclaimed outfit The Four Owls and managing director of High Focus Records.

“Mantra No. 9” is taken from his forthcoming 9th album which will be released later this year under his own High Focus Records.

Noraa brings us the warmth of “Sweet Summer Dreams” [Video]

Singer/songwriter Noraa is a Cologne Germany-born, Berlin-based artist of Chadian descent who kicked off her career professionally after a stint in Paris. Living in the vibrant French city gave her the much-needed cultural range and diversity which she added to her musical repertoire and the music she made there also ended up on her 2019 EP Mixed Feelings. Now back in Berlin, Noraa has slowly transitioned to being an indie artist who is currently working on a new EP (November 2022 is the release date) but in the interim, she shares her new single “Sweet Summer Dreams”.
